Offline Mode

Overview

Nexus works offline for up to 7 days after your last successful authentication. During offline mode, you retain full access based on your cached license tier.

How It Works

1. When you sign in, Nexus caches your license information locally
2. If your internet connection is unavailable, Nexus uses the cached license
3. Your user profile shows an OFFLINE badge to indicate offline mode
4. After 7 days without internet, you’ll need to reconnect and re-authenticate

If you are offline for more than 7 days, Nexus will require you to sign in again before you can continue using licensed features.

Recognizing Offline Mode

When Nexus is operating in offline mode:

• A yellow dot appears on your user avatar in the top-right corner.
• The account menu shows your license type followed by (offline) - for example, Pro (offline).
• All features allowed by your cached license tier continue to work normally.
